  • Customer called as the pothole is still not fixed and the provisional material that it's been covered with is all gone now.
Customer said that is in front of the dropped kerb outside no 58 Maulden Road.
Customer also said that las year was told the same thing that this will be fixed provisionally and will be added on the map of works for the next year but still nothing has been done.

Please can this be looked into and permanently fixed.

  • Resident called again asking when the potholes are going to be fixed. Now there are 2 potholes in the road and resident is asking for them to be done properly as every time they filled them up t takes up to 1week after that it breaks down again.

is very dangerous especially when it rains the potholes are getting filled with water and drivers can't see them.

can we please have an update when this will be fixed?
    Thank you

  • I will email the Area PO regarding this CRN that was reported in April.

I have advised the resident that the area team are aware of the pot holes
That they plan to deal with it during the next planned maintenance work in the area

However the resident wants to report that the holes are getting bigger and dangerous for motor cyclist .

Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
