Just after Chapel End Lane turning heading south on A6 towards Luton as road switches to dual lanes

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 402168.

As the road expands to dual lanes there is a pothole spanning the width of both lanes and largely unavoidable due to the speed limit of the road. I drove over it today and it appears to have damaged my offside front tyre. Will try to revisit for photos however there appears no place to stop to take a picture. The pothole is deep! Seems to have been there for a long time.
