Unclear signage

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 402268.

Unclear signage along this stretch of road - For a year now there have been 40mph signs, with no sign of work taking place.

The signage along here is unclear - there is a temporary 40mph sign, followed by a permanent 50mph sign - this was originally covered with a bin-bag, but this temporary covering has been here for so long now that the bag has deteriorated and torn, so the original 50mph sign is visible.

Can you please action 2 things from this ticket: 1) correct any signage along this road - ensuring 40mph signage is showing if applicable with regular repeaters, or all 40mph signage is removed and the 50mph signage is uncovered 2) Please confirm what work is scheduled for this stretch of road, and when it is scheduled for? These signs have been up for a significant amount of time now, and drivers are starting to get frustrated with the lack of any visible progress.

If there are no dates confirmed for any works along the A505, can you confirm why the temporary signage has been left up for so long, and what the delays with arranging the work are?
