Large raised area possibly road has sunk either side of drains. This has caused the formation of several deep pot holes as drivers try to avoid the ‘hump’ moving across to the other side of the lane. In addition to the pot holes versus raised lump the verges are being used which are banked. Damage to cars is likely

Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 13:37, Monday 11 March 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 403648.

The pot holes have been there for several months and are deepening/deteriorating steadily. The lump has been there over a year. The road was resurfaced up to church lane but then stopped and the dangerous uneven road area was left. According to reports this has been assessed, however urgent reassessment is required before significant vehicle damage or an accident by cars moving across into oncoming traffic or pedestrians.
