Hurst Grove verge pathway leading up to Thomas Johnson Lower School

Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 21:27, Monday 11 March 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 403692.

The path is absolutely disgusting and been left in an appalling dangerous state from where heavy vehicles have mounted the pavement.

It's extremely dangerous and slippery. Parents and children are struggling to use it. Those with pushchairs and physical aide are reverting to use the road as it is deemed safer for them.

The dismissal and refusal to do anything is bad enough in its self and is no way justified from a health and safety aspect. The refusal to fix this is discriminatory to those now unable to use the path safely in our community.

We pay enough council and road tax for this to be sorted. Given its the only access to the school this should be a priority safety measure for the children and those that use it. I want this escalated to someone senior as the lack of response and ownership is not satisfactory
