On the roundabout heading west, just after the Billington Road turn (literally just after)

Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 16:10, Fri 15 March 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 403949.

I do not know how long this pot hole has been here, but there is a long crack in the road where the tarmac meets, as well as a pothole, which was covered by rain. Being on a roundabout it's more dangerous than on a standard straight as the wheels tend to be at a camber which causes more issues. I hit the pothole, and lost all forward motion in the car (in any gear) but was able to safely get myself to the side of the road. When the police arrived, they also hit the pot hole and noticed how bad a crunch sound in made in their van.
