Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 17:00, Monday 18 March 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 404169.

I am writing to bring to your attention the unacceptable condition of Bowling Green Road, particularly regarding the unaddressed potholes that have been left unattended for over a year. Despite these hazards being initially cut for repair purposes, they remain untouched, posing a significant risk to motorists and pedestrians alike.

The condition of Bowling Green Road has deteriorated significantly over the past year, with the asphalt showing clear signs of wear and tear. The cuts made for repair purposes are evident, yet no action has been taken to rectify the situation. This neglect has not only resulted in inconvenience for commuters but also poses a safety hazard for all road users.

It is concerning that despite the passage of time, these hazardous conditions persist without any apparent effort to address them. The lack of maintenance not only reflects poorly on the responsible authorities but also compromises the safety and well-being of the community.

I urge you to prioritize the repair and maintenance of Bowling Green Road without further delay. Swift action is essential to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians and to uphold the integrity of our road infrastructure.
