Through the S-Bend

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 404439.

Numerous potholes have appeared in recent weeks at various locations at +/- 100 metres of this location. All have appeared in the areas where car tyres need to travel on the natural line when cornering. Potholes range in size and depth from 6-8 inches, to 2-3 feet and 1-3 inches in depth.

  • These are not at intervention level, but will be monitored closely. Thank you for your Highways report.
    We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor and inspect the road in line with our established service plan.
