All the way down dickens lane the surface is full of cracks and potholes

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 404466.

The whole lane is broken up and full of potholes the kerb is broken down this is all due to large lorries 12 plus wheelers going up on the kerbs and down to business further down the lane, the road is not suitable for these lorries , therefore the surface is getting broken up it’s a complete mess

  • This has been repaired recently. Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
