This drain has been blocked for a very long time and has been reported previously. I understand from the nearest neighbour that there has been an unsuccessful attempt to clear it in the past. Earlier this year during an extreme rain event the overflow was a contributary factor in flooding at Witts End Close.

It would appear that this problem has been addressed as the drain has been cleared and a second drain uncovered in the grass verge. Many thanks.
