Potsgrove Lane. These are NEW potholes!!!!

On around 19th March 2024 the very severe potholes in this are were "temporarily repaired. However, within 10 days these "temporary repairs have deteriorated to now be even more dangerous and hazardous. In the current road state its VERY probable a serious road accident occurs partially at night when these serious potholes cannot be easily seen until its too late. Any such accident would make CBC Highways 100% liable, particularly as these 2 potholes were only repaired within the past 2 weeks!!!

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
    An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)
