Dunstable Road near ECL plant

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405807.

There are multiple potholes for a long time, despite contacting council many times nothing has been done. Its damaging the car. I was previously told to wait for the new financial year but nothing has been done. we do not pay council tax to damage our own cars. kindly repair the road. many thanks

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
