Entrance to Mount Pleasant from High Street, Ridgmont.

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 405888.

Drains in kerbs on both sides of the road have collapsed. During periods of medium to heavy rainfall the puddles forming each side grow nail they create one full road-width lagoon, approx 8m long along the kerbside. It renders crossing the road impossible without walking some distance into Mount Pleasant. For pedestrians with mobility issues it is a major impediment to crossing the road, plus any vehicles turning into Mount Pleasant splash the water all over both pavements.
