Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406103.

The junction from Marston onto the Marston Bypass, old A421 has get limited views. This is a dangerous junction with too many sign and posts looking right and overgrown shrubs to the left with more temporary signage for the roadworks. The traffic from the direction of the services roundabout approach the junction very fast and pulling out of the junction is dangerous. I would expect a roundabout to be installed which would slow the traffic down and reduce the chance of an accident.

  • Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately this issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, however, we have forwarded this report to our Customer Services Team, and requested it is passed to Environmental Services within Central Bedfordshire Council. This junction is down for their 'Vision Splay' cut on our GIS mapping system, up to 7m from the road edge to optimise visibility.

    Many thanks,
