Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 17:05, Wed 8 May 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406459.
Drivers are speeding up and down Briggington Way. it would be good to have some clear signs of the speed limits (which are currently missing) as well as to better enforce such limits.

Unfortunately, 5 months after this ticket was opened, issues remain unchanged. Drivers speed up and down Briggington Way and there are no signs or speeding cameras to deter dangerous driving behaviour. Shockingly, new speed signs have already been placed on the nearby Vandyke Road near a new development that is still inhabited to this darte. There is therefore reason to raise concerns about the lack of similar measures on Briggington Way, which is now inhabited, and has not received the same kind of attention. With more families moving into the area, it is not just the noise pollution that is a problem for neighbours, it is a question of time a road accident will occur considering the level of speeding of many inconsiderate drivers. I would urge the local authorities to look into this situation and implement reasonable adjustments and solutions.
