17 church road, Upper Sundon, Lu33pb

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Potholes category anonymously at 17:29, Wed 8 May 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406463.

The pavement is cracked throughout and has many holes in the surface down to the ground. Grass is growing in the holes. My daughter has fallen down several times over these holes and patches of grass. In addition, the pavement slopes towards my property, which causes flooding of my yard during rains and the application of masses of mud along with the water. The pavement is vandalised along its entire length on all sides of the house and needs to be repaired - replaced.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

    Many thanks,
