Alley way along side Greenleas school

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 18:27, Fri 17 May 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406869.

The alleyway that runs up from Lomond Drive alongside Greenlease school is severely overgrown. This is a big problem at school run time, with kids getting stung by nettles and also meaning everyone has to walk in single file

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
