Bus stop opposite Cross Keys pub

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406875.

The grass and hedge around the bus stop are so overgrown that you can't see the bus/vehicles coming unless you step into/lean into the road - then quickly get out of the way if a vehicle is coming. This is dangerous.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
