Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406958.

The tree behind number 7 was supposed to be removed two years ago when the large tree on the right hand side was cut back. The tree is pushing on the fence and is a self seeded tree which was never planted there by anyone. It will grow to the same night as the houses on the left as you come in to Pinemead and something needs to be done as it blocking light already and the roots are causing a problem. The larger tree is blocking light again and children are constantly climbing the tree causing a problem to neighbours and is a health and safety danger. The neighbours are desperate for something to be done to these trees and they are getting bigger each year and will cause more of a problem as they grow. Thank you for reading this letter. I truly hope something can be done as the future is not looking good in regulars to the size these trees will grow to .

  • Hello - Having looked at our mapping, all the trees referred to here are under the ownership of Grand Union Housing, or private trees wirthin gardens. As such CBC Highways have no jurisdiction on the trees around these addresses. I'd advise the customer contact Grand Union Housing for a resolution.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
