Outside 114 Holme Crescent

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 21:17, Tue 21 May 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407018.

There is a tree outside our house and it’s starting to get very large. Last year the sap from the tree went all over the cars on the drive and this year the tree feels considerably larger, would be keen for it to be cut back if possible.

  • Hello, unfortunately, as per our policy, we are not obligated to prune back any trees for sap drop, leaf drop, bird mess, or other seasonal issues - we are also not obligated to prune back trees for overhang. Additionally, due to the restricted budgets we are now working with in comparison to previous years, we are having to prioritise the defects that pose a higher risk in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan. This does mean that not every defect reported to us will be considered as a priority for repair, as we need to ensure what budget we do have is being put towards addressing the most safety critical issues on the network at that moment in time.
