Between the Fancott and No Limits Track Day Office on the B579

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 18:24, Thu 23 May 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407174.

The footpath is dangerously over grown in many locations. Weeds are growing over and through the path forcing pedestrians onto the road. In addition to the constant flooding due to blocked drains. This is becoming seriously dangerous. Again, today I had to walk on the road on a blind bend causing traffic to swerve. I have reported issues on numerous occassions. Pot holes are repaired but nothing is done to the footpath nor to address the flooding. I received a response saying the next time there is heavy rain you would attend to see the extent of the flooding. Has this been done? Although you don't have to wait until it rains as it is dangerously flooded most of the time. I would happily discuss this with someone at the council and or Highways.
