Pavement at start of Abbey Close from Oliver Street

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Mrs. Ann Vickers at 22:46, Wednesday 29 May 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407443.

This pavement missed the council weed spraying programme last year and so the weeds kept growing and spread over half the pavement. This week the neighbour whose fence the weeds are against has sprayed them and tried to remove dead bits - but only against the fence. The rest of the pavement has weeds growing out of the ashphalt and cracking the pavement. Are we being forgotten in Abbey Close as other footpaths are being re-laid when they are in far better shape than ours. The weeds are braking up the path and the whole path needs re-surfacing. Also I know it has been reported but before someone is injured or killed can the grass be cut back at entrance to tidy tip in Abbey Lane and also at end of Abbey Lane/Flitwick Road both are so dangerous.
