Just before canal bridge coming from Stoke Road

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407482.

This pothole has been here for months and is so deep now that it is damaging wheels. I was forced into it the other day when a car was coming in the opposite direction and could not avoid it. I was lucky it did no damage but I know several people with damaged wheels and tyres. It is very deep and wide,

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
    An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)
