Nearly opposite Moleskine House on Moleskin Hill towards Streatley

Reported via iOS in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 16:36, Thu 30 May 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407487.

This problem has been reported a number of times. I am reporting it again because no action appears to have been taken and its getting worse each time it rains. The rain has washed away a large section of the roadway. This has resulted in a seriously deep pothole and collapse of the roadside on the left side of the carriageway as you drive south towards streatley. The road is also now beginning to deteriorate across the carriageway, i suspect because water may now be running under the road surface. To avoid it drivers are driving on the northbound side of the road, ie on the wrong side of the road and its a blind bend. It is incredibly dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. Too dangerous a spot to stop and take photos. Anyone from highways visiting the road to investigate cant miss it!
