North bound A507 at roundabout junction

Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 16:39, Wed 12 June 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408026.

This pothole has gotten worse the last couple of months, particularly at evenings/night when large trucks don't need to slow down for the roundabout. We feel our house shake when they hit them, I'm concerned about this for our house structure and the banging noise in the night is annoying, please investigate - whilst I know you have other deeper potholes it's the speed they are hit at, especially with large vehicles thanks :-)

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
