Overhanging trees

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408168.

The trees are completely over hanging the view to the right hand side as you pull out of Redhills Farm. We have had one hit and one near miss.

  • Resident called again asking for some updates regarding this enquire.
    The trees are overhanging over the road and people that are driving on the left hand side we had an accident and a near miss becuase there is no visibilty on the road for the drivers.
    Many drivers are drivingon the other side of the road because of this.
    Can we please have an update.

  • Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately this issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, however, we have forwarded this report to our Customer Services Team, and requested it is passed to Environmental Services within Central Bedfordshire Council.

    Issue is with vision splay cut at junction and private trees blocking view. Highways will write to the tree owners. Environmental Services will need to liaise with thier contractor regarding vision splay
