Hedges overgrown and now unable to walk on the path with my buggy to school! Having to walk on thr road during busy traffic. Part of the hedge has been attempted to be cut back but the remaining part still needs cutting back to the owners boundary.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
