The pavements were reported in March for being in bad disrepair, nothing was done about it and now all the weeds have set seed in them. My 80 year old mother is struggling to access her back gate to get her bins in and out and it’s a real trip hazard for her and anyone walking along the road. Please could you send someone out to clear them, thank you.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
