Redborne Cycle Path
Reported via iOS in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 11:17, Sun 30 June 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408653.
Unlicensed, unsafe, heavy, dangerous object overhanging a cycle path used by over 1000 school children every day.
Because of its height, poor materials, method of construction, there is a very high likely her that it would fall into the highway as well as being improperly suspended above the heads of pedestrians.
I cannot find a pavement or street sign license, nor any planning application, nor any waiver of the Highways Act in place for this object.
There are two other similar objects, one is on private property, and the other is above a verge, although it is also capable of tipping into the highway or foot
