Clophill roundabout pelican crossing on A6 south
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408683.
The box controlling the crossing has been sited at the front of the path nearest the road and is a visibility hazard for vehicles exiting Old Silsoe Rd. Several near-misses have happened to residents already and it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. It should be noted that at the crossing on the A507 near Pine View the box has been sighted at the back of the path furthest from the road.
