The whole path

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408954.

The entire path needs resurfacing, it’s very bumpy and not suitable for a wheelchair or pram. Plus, in agreement with another person that the foliage needs cutting back but the path to be made wider also so people aren’t having to step onto a busy road.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
