Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409027.

Man has explained to me that there is shrapnel/ metal in the road which is popping peoples tires when driving over it. It is an urgent fix. Thank you, sorry I don’t have more information as the problem was brought to me :)

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
