Outside 2 Linden Row, Junction Poppy Drive
Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 12:41, Wed 10 July 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409034.
The tree outside 2 Linden is dead. There have been no leaves on the tree in two seasons despite others around flowering. Given the desire for aesthetic and green agenda in future, could we request this tree be removed and replaced with a similar tree to the others in the row?

I have noted this location down for replanting, along with another further up and on the opposite side of the road. As this estate is recently adopted, i'll need to check with our Agreements team whether or not there is an obligation for the developer to replace any dead trees, before CBC commit to replacing them ourselves. Many thanks.

Hello - this is CBC responsibility. We have this location on our database for replanting. We can't guarantee a date for this as were not always able to plant yearly due to budget constraints. If we are not able to plant soon, we will remove the tree beforehand in anticipation of the next planting window.
