Rising water through tarmac causing slippery road surface

Reported via iOS in the Road Surface category anonymously at 18:56, Wed 10 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409059.

This is not surface rain water; but water emerging from underneath the road. It pools on the surface even on a dry day as imaged. This will cause a serious danger/problem when winter comes and it ices over. It is not clear whether this is underground water table issues or damaged water mains/drains but it does require fixing before someone is hurt in the colder months.
