B530 from Lockheed Martin entrance to north of Manor Farm

Reported via desktop in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 19:05, Thu 11 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409140.

Every single drain from south of Lockheed Martin to North of Manor Farm is totally blocked. The rain water runs down hill land pools on the road junction and across the road. This causes dangerous driving conditions. The standing water also damages the road surface. The kerb side has weeds and soil all along it and the drains are full of soil and plants. I’m not aware they have been cleaned out for several years. No point having drains if none of them work. I really hope you will look into this please.
