Bridge opposite the lodge, part of the public footpath

Reported via desktop in the Public Rights of way category anonymously at 11:00, Fri 12 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6221567.

I see this has been reported before, but you were unable to find it. A bridge which forms part of the public footpath is massively overgrown, and is missing a plank. It is very difficult to cross and the hole is pretty dangerous as you can't obviously see it.

To find the bridge, if you are driving from Eyeworth direction towards Sutton along Sutton Road, stop in the field gateway on the LHS just after the bends over the bridge, opposite the house on the RHS, just before the drive to Molehill Barns.

From the field gateway walk perpendicular to the road and the bridge crosses the ditch right in front of you. It is very close, not along the brook.
