Footpath between Sutton Road, Lousy Wood, and Water End, Wrestlingworth

The entire footpath running from Water End at Wrestlingworth to Sutton Road, via Lousy Wood is impassable. The grass is head high and has not been mowed at all this year (I walk this way nearly every day).

The path is bad, but the part just off Sutton Road is pretty much blocked and cannot be used. The brambles have made it unusable, and there is no easy way around this to continue on.

  • I have cleared the section from the road to the wood and am looking for help from our volunteers to clear the field boundary section. It may be that the farmer cuts this when the crop is harvested?
