Ouside of No 25
Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 11:05, Tue 23 July 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409597.
This tree has now overgrown our property and is dispersing sap over our cars which is damaging the paintwork. In my opinion it is too close to the house for the size of it and needs urgent attention.

Custoer called to advise that trees are currently being cut down now in the area due to retarmacking. They have spoken to the worker cutting down the trees to see if the tree they reported could be cut back at the same time and they advised they cant do it.
Customer asked if the tree could be cut back at the same time as the other trees are being cut down.

customer has called to say all trees cut back around this close, asked if they could clear this issue he has at the property, this one is still outstanding, another contractor cutting first tree in close as we speak, that one tree only but his seems to left and only ten yards down from where they are working, first reported in July, can you take a look at this please as they all seem to be being looked at apart from his one.

Customer called to say they have had an response saying that the tree has been made safe however the tree isn't unsafe and was originally reported in July advising that the branches overhanging their property need to be cut back as the sap that falls from it has been damaging the cars underneith.
Customer advised that work on other trees in the area that are not overhanging any properties has been done and when asking the contractor if they will be cutting back the overhanging branches they reported they advised they have not been contracted to do that and told to call the council again.
Customer would like an update when the branches are going to be cut back as it would be best to do it now before the leaves grow back.State changed to: Open
