Top of Station Road south side

Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category by Graham Cooper at 16:03, Wed 24 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409664.

I logged this in December 2022 and again 24 July 2024, C Beebies replied that it was a major job and moved it to the 'Closed ' category meaning that the various moans about this are no longer available to see. How sneaky can you get? It is NOT closed until the job is completed properly!

  • The job clears with a response of works already planned. We have not cleared or forgotten the job. as previously stated we may have to dig up vairousd parts of the junction to check pipe works before we can safely repair this gully and will be looked at in the next quater.

  • With the amount of housebuilding about to or already taking place in Harlington, there is a high probability that the works to repair this bad pothole/collapsed drain will put off because it will interfere with material deliveries and traffic through the village. This means your planned date will go further out unless works are started before the mayhem.
