Fingerpost at what3words: ///librarian.pass.adjuster

Reported via desktop in the Public Rights of way category anonymously at 21:16, Wed 24 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6272208.

Footpath FP4 from Biggleswade Road towards Sutton is totally impassable due to undergrowth from the Fingerpost at Biggleswade Road to the ditch which feeds into the stream that runs parallel to the southern side of The Belt (0.04 miles). Thereafter it is very difficult to negotiate up to the next field boundary (a distance of 0.3 miles).

Updates

  • We have scheduled works this financial year to install steps leading from Biggleswade Road to the footpath to improve safety. Until these steps are in place I would not wish to encourage its usage by cutting the vegetation back

    State changed to: Closed
