Outside 62 Princes Street

Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Beryl Kemp at 10:25, Monday 29 July 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409764.

Hole is now 1 metre long and 9cm deep. My husband caught his foot and fell. He already has a hip replacement. This hole has got bigger and deeper and has been there for more than a year. It is DANGEROUS. if you do not intend filling it then I will buy a bag of fence post concrete and fill it myself rather than risk a serious injury.

  • Lady in mobility scooter had to be rescued this week after wheel got stuck in hole. She says in future she will stick to riding on road as that is safer than pavement. Shocking!
