Re: The Lane, Tebworth, we are grateful that some of the potholes have been filled in. Unfortunately this doesn't solve the problems with The Lane. As we have pointed out before The Lane is severely rutted and we feel it needs a resurface rather than filling up occasional potholes.

    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
