Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410746.

Re. 82 canesworde road Thank you for your recent e mail. I am well aware that the two trees in question are on unregistered land. However you have served me with two TPOs restricting anybody from correcting the potential danger. The Council cannot in one hand restrict any correction because of the TPOs and on the other hand resolve itself from any responsibility. Once again I put on record that should there be any danger to property or person I hold the Council responsible. I would be grateful for you to reconsider and advise me accordingly.

    TPOs are issued and managed by the Planning Department, if there is a legitimate reasons to conduct work, they will grant permission.

    We maintain that the Highways Department are not responsible for these trees.
