10m South of 20-22 and 25 Leighton Road ///cape.zeal.punk

Reported via mobile in the Surface cover category anonymously at 19:45, Tue 3 September 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 410955.

A tilting, poorly seated manhole cover that looks flat until cycled or driven over, then tips dangerously creating an edge that could unseat cyclists and creates loud banging every time a vehicle passes. It is a busy road so noise can be heard within surrounding properties all through the day and night at a rate of 2-3 per minute at peak times. It affects at least 11 properties within a 60yd radius preventing residents sleeping and causing disruption during the day. Should be an easy fix. No utility company branding visible. Thank you.
