Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411019.
There is a concrete hydrant base protruding into the road area. The edge is crumbled and razer sharp. It appears that the hazard has actually been tarmacked around and not remedied. Yesterday my vehicle struck this hazard and it ripped the sidewall of both my left hand wheels causing two punctures. I had to call The AA to assist me in getting home. I have front and rear dash cam evidence of the incident. In my opinion this hazard must have been identified when the tarmac was layed, but not acted on. I have now to find over £250.00 to replace the tyres and there is also damage to my alloy wheels.
