Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411258.
I would like to report that all the vegetation is pushing the fence over to our garden narrowing our garden,It's dangerous as it looks like it's about to fall entirely. The alleyway between the fence and our house has become so narrow that it's now impossible to use, leaving us with no access to this part of our property. Please bare in mind the images were taken over a month ago, today it looks a lot worse.
Can this be actioned urgently please? I'm concerned that this makes it more accessible to outsiders and increases the risk of break-ins.

Hi - we have noted works for completion (to cut back encroaching vegetation from London Road side), however we cannot commit to a date for this happening. In the meantime, under common law, residents are entitled to prune back any vegetation encroaching onto their property.

Customer's email:
Hi
Can I please follow up on my enquiry?
They are due to cut back the vegetation, but the fence needs to be repaired, otherwise it will fall down once the vegetation is trimmed
The fence itself needs an urgent attention!!!

While CBC have work planned to address the vegetation, we are not responsible for repairing a private fence. A claim for damages can be made to our Insurance team, but we dont have the resources, or responsibility to make repairs to private property, this will have to be handled by the owner.
