Tree opposite Methodist Chapel

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411655.

Large broken branch from tree is hanging precariously from branches and directly over the road. It is an accident waiting to happen - either from being hit by reg branch once it eventually falls or by swerving to avoid the branch catching th roof of an passing vehicle. Unable to provide photo as I was on foot and road very busy,

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
