At the bottom of elm drive outside numbers 8,9 and 10

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411899.
Both drains at the bottom of close are completely blocked. The water overflowed down my drive and was at the point of entering my house. It took 20 neighbours with buckets into wheelie bins and a pump to avert some of the water. I appreciate the weather last night but this happens every time it rains . The drains have not been cleaned in the 17 years I have lived here and are blocked

Attended a wet inspection on tuesday and drain wasnt blocked. It is a capacity problem. Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
Many thanks,
