The cyclic gully cleaning is due to be carried out in this area, at the start of 2025. Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Resident is aware that there will be gully cleaning next year . See previous notes. However due to being flooded 3 times already this year.
Requesting the gully cleaning take place earlier than that. Concerned that with the heavy rains this weekend. They will be flooded again.
They've manged to find silt and debris in the blocked drain. Anglian water have advised them that this is CBC highways responsibility ------

Follow up call - Confirmed escalation has been send and with team. Please can we consider clearing the gulley as soon as possible as risk of flooding property has already flooded 3 times this year.

An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
