Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 412305.

Yet again this road is flooded. We were told back in March that the drains would be cleared. Yet here we are again, road flooded after heavy rain. What is being done about this? A team have been out and located the drain by 1, they FAILED to look for the drain directly opposite by 10. It shows on your map where there are drains, it’s a shame the staff can’t find them to try and do something about it.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
